The European Quality of Life Survey (EQLS) was carried out in 2003 and 2007, covering around 30 countries. The survey examines a range of issues, such as employment, income, education, housing, family, health, work-life balance, life satisfaction and perceived quality of society. It is conducted by a European Union body, the European Foundation for the Improvement of Living and Working Conditions (Eurofound).
