UniverseThe survey population consisted of all workplaces of firms in Great Britain with at least 10 employees, except for those in the following Standard Industrial Classification 1992 (SIC92) divisions: A (Agriculture, hunting and forestry); B (Fishing); C (Mining and quarrying); P (Private households with employed persons); and, Q (Extra-territorial organisations).;Employees;Establishments;Managers;Trade union officers;National
SamplingSimple random sample; One-stage stratified or systematic random sample;A simple random sample was used for the Survey of Employees Questionnaire (SEQ). A one-stage stratified sample was used for the cross-section sample for the Management Questionnaire (MQ).
