LabelHow sure would you need to be to find the defendant guilty beyond reasonable doubt?
Question text At the end of the trial, before the members of a jury leave the courtroom to go and make their decision, they are given instructions by the judge on how to reach their verdict. This is what the judge says: Only convict if the prosecution have made you sure of the defendant's guilt, which is the same as proving the case beyond reasonable doubt. Looking at this card, if you were on a jury and were told this, how sure would you need to be to find the defendant guilty? Please tell me as precisely as possible where on this percentage scale you would be.
