LabelState pension level high/low earner Q397
Question text Now suppose two people in a firm retired. Which of the options on this card comes closest to your view about their entitlement to a state pension? The high earner should get more than the low earner because they have paid more in taxes, the high and low earner should get the same amount, the low earner should get more than the high earner because they are more likely to be in need, the high earner should not get anything because they can afford to provide for themselves.
