Interviewer InstructionsSHOWCARD M3. 'Basic Bank Account is not a descriptive term. It is NOT a savings account, you don't get a cheque book and it is not based on your credit rating. You can only spend the money that is in your account. Basic bank accounts are usually given to those without a specific credit score (e.g. people new to the country or people that haven't had a bank account). This will only apply to small percentage of people. Some examples of basic bank accounts are listed on this card.
