LabelMediation or employment tribunal more acceptable? :ABD1051
Question text Mediation is a process that can be used to resolve a wide range of disputes including disputes at work or between neighbours or family members. An independent person, known as the mediator, works with the two sides in the dispute to help them reach a solution that is acceptable to both - without going to a court or a tribunal. Thinking about disputes in the workplace, which could range from unfair dismissal to discrimination, do you think that mediation is more acceptable, equally acceptable or less acceptable than an employment tribunal as a method for resolving workplace disputes?
