After the Labour candidate for my region spoke out just before the lection saying he didn't think much to Gordon Brown, I felt my vote would be wasted, so I chose the party that I felt would deal with the immigration/asylum problem the best. (I don't like 1
Agreed some of UKIP's key policies (although not all) - but preferable to the other main parties who failed to be clear about their plans. 1
All of the above 1
All party manifesto's had some good points and some bad. I had to vote on a balance of good Vs bad which was not very satisfactory. 1
All the main three parties are shit and you wouldn't be able to make a good one out of all three. They are all liars and theives. the difference is they do it fairly legally. 1
Although I agreed with many conservative policies, the candidate in my constituency appeared to hold views that were more right-wing than David Cameron, so I didn't want to vote for him. I didn't agree with labour policies, so voted lib dem. 1
Although I'm Labour I think that New Labour is just a clone of the Conservatives and I never vote for them 1
Although there was a lot wrong with Labour, I definitely didn't want the Conservatives to win. I quite liked the look of the labour candidate, and none of the smaller parties stood a chance. 1
Always been a Labour voter 1
Always voted Labour 1
As my constituency is between Plaid & Liberal, voted Liberal as they would have larger say in Westminster than Plaid 1
Because at this moment in time I don't trust any of them 1
Because the candidate for here, has worked conistently for the area even while he was only a prospective candidate and I admire him for this. 1
Best local MP 1
Best of a bad bunch! 1
Best of a bad job 1
Best of a very poor choice and a lack of a " none of the above" option on the ballot paper 1
Better chance of getting a Government of All the Talents 1
Better policies on the things which mattered to me, housing & local goverment, also, the conservatives should have been able to perform better through the campaign. The fact that they didn't made me feel that they lack the skills to be leaders 1
Better the devil you know 1
Cameron broke his word over a referendum on th Lisbon Treaty(EU Constitution) 1
Candidate 1
Candidates lived locally 1
Change from the two usual parties 1
Combination of things. Why should Scots, Welsh, and Irish have a say on what the English do?, we're not allowed to vote on their national issues. They appear to want to tell the English what to do and expect us to pay for it, while demanding still more mo 1
Complicated. Local seat was between Labour and Lib Dem, with very little chance of Conservatives winning. If it had been a question of keeping Conservatives out, or there had been no Green candidate, I would have voted differently, but had become somewhat 1
Conservative candidate put a lot of effort in and the sitting Lib Dem MP has been there for ages and should give somebody else a turn. 1
Couldnt vote Labour [sick of the sight of them - esp. GB], THOUGHT i would vote Tory but just couldnt do it when got to the ballot box! 1

Disenfranchised in consituency 1
Do not trust the tories. 1
Dont like the way Gordon Brown got rid of the 10% tax bracket, then said he would help those that lost out. Well he didnt did he!!!!????? mostly pensioners 1
English Parliament, EU Referendum, Education, Immigration. Law and Order. No one party incorporates these issues in to my mind a satisfactory manifesto. 1
English democrats are self funding from candidates own pockets. We couldn't find a candidate to represent my constituency, so I had to vote for send best alternative 1

I always vote Lib Dem, but in my constituency they fielded a candidate who was pro-life. I am strongly pro-choice and felt I could not vote for this candidate. 1
I am a lifelong Labour supporter, but lately have found myself frustrated by their attitude to immigration within the EU. I voted UKIP for that point only. 1
I believe in independence for Scotland and will continue to vote for the SNP until we have it. 1
I believe that both Labour and the Conservative parties have had a chance in my lifetime to govern the country. It is about time that the third major party in the country - The Liberal Democrats, had a chance to take the reins. 1
I considered all the human rights being misinterpetd. How Christians do not seem to have the same 'rights' as other faiths. Christians being suspended or sacked for their right not to go against their concensious, even though they are good at their jobs. 1
I could never bring myself to vote Labour and there's not much choice other than Conservative 1
I could not bring myself to vote for any party complicit in the expenses scandals so I voted for the party which I thought could be a major irritant to the winning party. 1
I could not vote Labour now under any circumstances, and the Conservative party seemed the best of a disappointing lot 1
I could not vote for the Labour Party, the party of broken promises and untruths.I voted for them once and feel badly let down. On balance I prefer & trust more the MPs representing the Conservative Party . 1

I do not like either the leaders or policies of the only two parties which could win in my area (Lib dems and Conservatives) but believe that it is my duty to vote. I live in Cornwall, I support a party which would stand up for our neglected part of the S 1
I do not like the leader but I like the policies of the other parties less. 1
I do not think Cameron is good for the Tories 1

I have always voted for labour from as long as i can remember and my family always vote for labour 1
I have voted Conservative for 40 years, but here in Coventry we had Conservative Councillors standing for Parliament and these same councillors had voted to build 11,500 house on the Green Belt which A) aren't needed and B) could be built on Brownfield si 1
I have voted labour for 48 years and inadequate as they are there was no compelling reason to vote differently this time 1
I knew that the Tories were going to win in my constituency, and wanted the LibDems to have a high a share of the vote as possible to reinforce the need for a change to the system of voting to PR. 1

My late husband was a strong labour supporter and I simply continue the tradition 1
My local MP is a Labour MP - however, on local issues, he is the best man for the job. Additonally, he was the only candidate to live in the constituency and also being an MP is his only job. 1

No party was doing anything that I have issues with except BNP, and they only had a couple of issues going for them 1
None of the parties can be trusted. The Lib-Dems seem to be slightly less untrustworthy than the rest. In my book that's as good as it gets in the UK today. 1
Normally vote Labour but due to performance changed Vote 1
Not prepared to say 1

The Conservative party has the same values as I do 1
