Interviewer InstructionsThis is an extra lane that motorists pay to use at the busiest times [show picture]. This picture shows a toll lane that is in place in Minnesota in the USA. The Minnesota toll lane varies the toll price during the day depending on traffic levels, with road message signs letting drivers know the price. This toll lane has resulted in traffic flowing at the speed limit for 95 per cent of the time.
