Question text Approximately what percentage of employees work in jobs which require at least one year of on the job learning in order for the person to become proficient in his/her task? First, think of jobs that require at least one year of on the job learning. Then count all the employees (and add up their numbers), who work in these jobs and calculate their percentage of the total number of employees in the establishment.

UniverseLocation of units of observation: Cross-national; National;Population: Managers and employees from establishments based in the EU, with 10 or more employees.
SamplingMulti-stage stratified random sample;The sample used in the 3rd ECS aims at a full representation of businesses and other organisations with 10 or more employees in each country covered by the survey. In each country, a multi-stage, stratified random sampling design was used. The sampling approach takes into account the challenges in terms of the coverage criteria and in providing a coherent approach across the countries. For further details, see documentation.
