| Interviewer Instructions | AN ELECTRONIC CIGARETTE IS A DEVICE THAT CAN LOOK LIKE A NORMAL CIGARETTE (THOUGH SOME CAN LOOK DIFFERENT) AND THAT USES A BATTERY TO CREATE A VAPOUR THAT CAN LOOK LIKE SMOKE. UNLIKE NORMAL CIGARETTES, THEY DO NOT BURN, NOR CONTAIN TOBACCO, THEY SHOULD NOT BE CONFUSED WITH NICOTINE INHALERS/INHALATORS, WHICH ARE LICENSED NICOTINE REPLACEMENT THERAPY (NRT) PRODUCTS. E-CIGARETTES ARE SOLD AS AN ALTERNATIVE TO SMOKING. | ||||||||||||||||||
