LabelConsent to waist/hip measurements
Question text Now I would like to measure the circumference of your waist. The waist circumference is a measure of the distribution of body fat, provides important additional information and is a predictor of health risk. You will need to be standing for this measurement. I will ask you to identify where on your body your tummy button is, and I will then ask you to place this measuring tape around your waist, over your clothing, at the level of your tummy button. Once the tape measure is level around your waist I will ask you to take a normal breath and then breathe out. I will then record the measurement. I will take at least two measurements. Are you willing for me to take this measurement?
