The Economic and Social Data Service (ESDS) was funded to compile this teaching dataset by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) and Joint Information Systems Committee (JISC).
The Office for National Statistics (ONS) and the Northern Ireland Department of Enterprise, Trade and Investment funded the Quarterly Labour Force Survey, June - August, 2005 from which this dataset has been compiled.

The dataset contains 81 variables taken from the main Quarterly Labour Force Survey, June - August, 2005 dataset (held at the UKDA under SN: 5266), covering the themes of ethnicity, labour market participation and household composition.
