Abstract copyright UK Data Service and data collection copyright owner.Independent market research company Public Knowledge were commissioned by NHS North of Tyne to conduct research to assess cancer awareness using the validated Cancer Awareness Measure (CAM). Data were collected using a combined face-to-face street and door-knocking methodology from the most deprived wards served by NHS North of Tyne, specifically: NHS Newcastle, NHS North Tyneside and NHS Northumberland.
