DOI change log

United Nations Industrial Development Organization: INDSTAT4, 1985 -

A Digital Object Identifier (DOI) is assigned to each international database every time there is an update to the data. The new DOI will resolve to this page containing a log of previous editions since the allocation of its first DOI. The DOI system supports resource discovery and simplifies citation for users of data collections. Data producers benefit directly through increased visibility of their work.

Abstract:

The INDSTAT4 ISIC Revision 4 database contains time series data for the period 2003 onwards and for 79 countries. The data are arranged at the 3- and 4-digit level of the International Standard Industrial Classification of All Economic Activities (ISIC) Revision 4 pertaining to the manufacturing sector, which comprises 162 manufacturing categories. Some data begin in 1999.
The INDSTAT4 2018 ISIC Revision 3 database contains time series data for the period 2003 onwards and for 138 countries. The data are arranged at the 3- and 4-digit level of the International Standard Industrial Classification of All Economic Activities (ISIC) Revision 3 pertaining to the manufacturing sector, which comprises 152 manufacturing categories.
